Manual on Biological Data Collection
In DiadES, biological data will be collected to feed the ecosystem services valuation and the construction of new species distribution models. The present document provides detail on the range of species and of sampling methods to be deployed. The techniques include traditional direct sampling procedures as well as indirect ‘sampling’ via access to fish by-catch. However, more technological strategies such as telemetry and newer tools such as environmental DNA will also be used to generate information on species in the case studies within the Atlantic Area.
