Diades will meet in Bordeaux for the final conference
Three years after the kick-off meeting, the DiadES partnership will meet face to face in Bordeaux (France) in July 5-8 2022 to present the results and conclusions of these 3 years’ work . The DiadES conference, entitled “Local and global initiatives: how science supports management actions on diadromous species” is hosted by INRAE and the Research Unit EABX, Aquatic Ecosystems and Global Changes.
This concluding meeting will be enriched with contributions from two other locally funded projects (i.e. by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and the Adour-Garonne Water Agency):
– The Fauna/Shad’EAU project on the conservation of shad population in south-western France, with complementary results and findings from DiadES;
– The REVE project on the European sturgeon life-history tactics reconstruction and its thematic day on diadromous species restocking.
